Universal Studios Japan is getting a crazy new hotel room for Minions

Universal Studios Japan has already surprised fans with several new attractions as part of Universal Cool Japan Initiativebut now the park is getting a brand new Despicable Me-themed hotel room, slated to open July 15. In addition to the two Minions rooms that were installed in 2016 and 2017, Universal Port Hotel now gets a room inspired by the Super Silly Funland theme park from the original Despicable Me movie.

Here is an overview of the new room.

The entire interior of this wacky room is decorated with wallpaper showing the fictional theme park, so you can pretend you have all the rides to yourself.

Speaking of rides, the four-person bunk bed is designed to look like the roller coasters featured in the movie. Plus, it has Minion-themed yellow sheets.

Meanwhile, the TV stand looks like the Space Killer game Margo, Edith and Agnes are playing.

In the bathroom, you’ll find a funhouse-style mirror and Minions artwork taped to the wall.

Be sure to check out the little details, too, like this lamp that looks like a creature from the movie series.

There are a total of ten Minions and Despicable Me rooms available per day, and reservations are open from June 14 via Universal Port Hotel websiteand June 16 on other booking sites, including Jalan and Rakuten Tourist attractions. A room can accommodate up to four people and starts at ¥21,000 per person including breakfast.
